Frequently asked Question

We have the answers for your questions

Yes. You can! Digital pianos are a great alternative to acoustic pianos. Unlike keyboards, they have fully weighted keys that provide a full range of expression, from soft to loud. Some keyboards, on the other hand, are partially fine for piano lessons in the initial stages of learning but it is always advised to have a good digital piano from brands like Yamaha, Roland & Casio as they are a wonderful option for students.

Because they are practical, time-saving, simple to access, and allow you to learn from the comfort of your home, online classes are effective. The most typical method of operation for online piano lessons is for students to advance through a set curriculum that has been created by trained musicians and educators. You can review the lessons as much as you choose, and the information is organized and presented simply. You may assure consistent progress and learn interesting music on your schedule by taking interactive classes with nytyn future music school.

Yes, you can learn piano on a keyboard. The key layout on both instruments is the same. Songs learned on piano will transfer directly to a keyboard, with little adjustment required for minor changes in key width or pressure required to perform them.

There are 3 basic categories of piano keyboard instruments namely:

  1. Acoustic Piano
  2. Digital Piano
  3. Electronic Keyboards

Acoustic pianos are costly. The normal price range for a nice acoustic upright (sometimes called “vertical”) piano is $4,000 to $8,000.

If you want a grand or baby grand piano, plan to invest $6,000 to $10,000 or more. The Yamaha U1 is the most favored upright piano, but one can also consider Kawai models.

Digital pianos are manufactured to sound and feel as close to an acoustic piano as feasible as the keys are weighted. They are typically priced at $1,000-$2,000 & are less expensive than upright pianos. The Yamaha Arius series and the Casio Privia series are among the greatest digital pianos for beginners.

If you are unable to invest several hundred to several thousand dollars in an acoustic piano or digital piano, an electronic keyboard is the best option for you. They are typically priced between $200 to $500. Electronic keyboards exist in a variety of sizes, but we recommend going with a keyboard with 88-weighted keys or 61-keys (if 88 keys versions are out of your price range). We recommend the Yamaha PSR Series or the Casio CT Series.

Online learning is primarily a type of electronic learning in which education is delivered via the internet rather than in a traditional classroom. Although students learn through online activities such as reading texts or viewing instructional videos, they must still complete quizzes and assignments to demonstrate their knowledge. Online learning is more self-contained and does not require you to be in a given location at a specific time. This flexibility makes education more accessible to people who may not be able to devote a significant amount of time to attend classes.

Yes. It is possible. But we advise the students to use a computer or a laptop for a better learning experience.

You may be apprehensive about starting at first, and wondering if learning to play piano online is as effective as taking lessons in person. The answer is yes! At Nytyn, to maximize learning effectiveness and progress, the key ideas are handpicked to help students understand them at the most basic level possible by simplifying them to a core level.

The main strength of our courses is how skillfully they are created, paying close attention to every detail and expertly crafting them to deliver the best results for every student. Unlike traditional music education methods, you will go through an innovative approach to music learning music in a simple, creative, and fun way.

The answer is as soon as possible! Yes. A child who fits all of the requirements like hand size, finger independence, and desire is eligible to start taking piano lessons! At nytyn, we have skillfully designed courses for juniors (4-6years), kids (7-12 years) & teens (13+) by understanding a child’s natural way of learning at different ages. It enhances the learning experience & maximizes progress. And finally, music is healthy for the body, mind, and spirit at any age, and it is something to appreciate for a lifetime.

A four-year-old child will have the advantage of starting young, but patience and hard work will be required. And parents are expected to put in a bit of work & patience in helping their children to play the piano. When it comes to young children studying the piano, there are some prerequisites. The 5 most significant factors to evaluate are:

  1. Hand size
  2. Fundamental motor abilities
  3. The willingness to learn and not easily get distracted
  4. Readiness to follow instructions
  5. An attention span of at least 30 minutes.

But if the child learning the piano isn’t interested and isn’t paying attention it is best to not force him/her because every child is unique in their way, and they may develop the necessary abilities later in life.

The amount of time that a beginner should practice will be determined mostly by the individual’s age & goals. Younger children lack the attention span required to practice properly for extended periods. For youngsters under the age of four or five, 15-20 minutes each day is usually sufficient & about 30 minutes every day, six days a week for older novices (teenagers and adults). As their skills improve, increasing their practice time from 45 minutes to an hour will be quite useful. But most importantly, one should know that quality matters over quantity. So, start with less duration & practice consistently. As the habit forms gradually, increase the duration according to the goals.
